Assistant Manager - Production
 

Position: Assistant Manager – Production 

Experience: 8–10 Years
Education: Bachelor’s Degree/master’s in mechanical, Electrical, Food Technology, or Production Engineering (or related field)
Location: Mahuva, Gujarat

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and oversee daily production operations in the dehydration plant to meet quantity, quality, and efficiency targets.
• Supervise and coordinate activities of production staff, ensuring proper utilization of manpower, machinery, and materials.
• Monitor process parameters such as temperature, moisture level, and drying time to maintain consistent product quality.
• Ensure proper handling of raw materials (e.g., onions, garlic, or vegetables) from receipt to dehydration and packaging.
• Implement and maintain Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Food Safety Standards (FSSAI, HACCP, ISO) within the production area.
• Coordinate with maintenance, quality control, and supply chain teams to ensure uninterrupted operations.
• Analyze daily production reports and recommend process improvements for cost reduction and efficiency enhancement.
• Support new product trials and process optimization initiatives.
• Maintain accurate production documentation, including batch records, logs, and performance reports.
• Enforce strict adherence to safety, hygiene, and environmental norms in the production facility.
