Nedspice is looking for 2 key account managers to strengthen Nedspice EMEA  

 

 

Your mission is to become the number one supplier for single spices and dehydrated vegetables for your respective scope. Looking at growing volumes with existing customers, retaining them and attracting new clients. 

 

As key account manager you are responsible for managing your customer base; understanding markets and customers, managing planning and execution for your commercial activities within your scope.  

 

We are a privately-owned group of companies with worldwide activities in the sourcing, processing and distribution of spices, herbs and dehydrated vegetables. We are fast-growing, and we are amongst the industry leaders when it comes to sustainability. As the number one exporter of black pepper from Vietnam and the one with the greenest dehydrated onions; everybody in the spice business knows us.  

 

Our head office is based in Rotterdam, our production facilities and offices are in India and Vietnam, and we have sales offices in the US and in China. 

 

You, 

  • are analytical and have a pragmatic approach to grow your volumes;  

  • identify commercial opportunities and convert them into long-term collaborations; 

  • develop internal and external relationships with (new) customers; 

  • understand market dynamics and turn insights into a clear sales plan; 

  • are a team player; 

  • are not only a street-smart negotiator, but also a business builder, relationship manager and comfortable with managing your stakeholders; 

  • can find your way in the world of technology and make data driven decisions; 

  • are pro-active and a self-starter; 

  • Have around 5 years of experience in customer management, buying or procurement in the b2b food sector; 

  • Have a bachelor level education completed; 

  • are familiar in working with SAP or other well-known ERO systems; 

  • are fluent in English. Dutch, German, Spanish or French is an advantage; 

  • are willing to travel across Europe to visit your customers, find new opportunities and represent Nedspice at trade fairs and other events. 

 

In this role success means expanding your wallet share and boosting the company’s position as preferred supplier for single spices by delivering high quality products and service in a sustainable manner. 

 

Key results are: Strategic account development, meet sales targets, turn prospects into long term customers and forecasting and pipeline management.
